Have you considered getting a chat room?
I've been on IRC a fair bit, and ive seen a few options like, if you plan to get one.
i know a good server for it, with reasonable facilities, (Nickserv, Chanserv and BotServ)

Sure! We actually had a chatroom but it kept messing up so we decided on a shoutbox.
But if our new Timeless is completed soon, I'll definetly turn to you for a chatroom.

In the last decade of the 20th century, An event occurred in the lived and minds, Of a random few, It was an event of magical momentum, A building was erected , To house a dream of many, 3 dimensional sound, For these people, Who made sound their lives, This was a day of life changing quality. It was loud!! Into the triangular parlot they went, The music entered them, Through their skin, Into their blood, Following their heart beat The music became them, And they became it. Off they went following a dirt desert path, A brand new beginning for lovers of sound, They had to pass it on. I need I want I will. The journey was not easy for them, On their path there was an obstacle, Down came the rain, And the H.R. Giger crane, It all tried to stop them, However they found the will, To find their way back home, To pass it on.

That explains it then. Bravenet = yuck for that sort of thing.
Bravenet just doesn'thave the options. It doesn't even give the person who signed up any power within the chat room!
